While most of us are aware of the home based telephone systems, office telephone systems are usually more complex and are capable of handling a number of operations other than making simple voice calls. While home telephones enable users to network with others using the internet etc., the power of networking and inter-networking is highly advanced in office telephones. 

FAX/EPABX capabilities, local connections from cabin to cabin and high speed internet access, distributed amongst the office staff using leased lines etc. are just some of the ways in which office telephone systems are being used by corporates to hasten their communication with each other.

Latest in the line of telephone systems designed specifically for office use are multi-line telephones with call forwarding options. Most of these telephone systems are used in customer support cells of many high profile companies.
