Cardiff Film Festival 2006

Following on from the Cardiff Film Festival 2006, the Film Agency for Wales undertook a review of the festival’s activity in the light of the current Creative Industries’ Strategy. As a consequence, the Cardiff Film Festival will cease to exist and will instead be superseded by a new International Film Event for Wales.
The Film Agency for Wales has re-opened its call for funding bids for this new event, with a decision likely to be announced in early August.
Please check the Film Agency's website at www.filmagencywales.com for information regarding the rationale, aims and ambitions of the new event, and for further developments as they happen.
