During this year’s Cardiff Film Festival, which runs from 8-18 November, Greenfield, a Cardiff-based media company, will be trialling a new and innovative mobile marketing campaign using state-of-the-art Bluetooth technology.

Working in partnership with the film festival team, Greenfield will provide relevant multi-media information and content, from sms text to graphic files directly to visitors’ hand held mobile phones.

The campaign will be a first for the film festival and a new kind of service in its infancy worldwide, allowing the Festival team to deliver content in an innovative way and completely free of charge to the end user.

Wyn Innes, Managing Director Greenfield, said, "We are delighted to be collaborating with the Cardiff Film Festival on this venture which enables the delivery of exciting content to the audience using their mobile phones.

"This technology allows organisations to target their customers in a direct and unique way and is at the cutting edge of the mobile and video industries. We are therefore delighted to be providing such innovative and forward thinking solutions to the Festival."

Sarah Howells, Festival Director, said, "As a Festival we have always strived to be at the cutting edge of technology and to be as interactive as possible. This trial with Greenfield promises a fascinating glimpse of what could be achieved for future festivals."
